Sunlight:
closeted by the morning mists,
clothed about in windless spray
more regal in gold, it exists
ample to itself.
Water:
moving lonesomely towards the rim,
chattering excitedly to itself, unheeding
of the destination, then is quickly grim
and silent as it plunges over.
Droplets:
parachuting slowly towards the ground,
drumming loudly at its touch
in protest, there to be bound
into the beginning of a rainbow.
