On the horizon, Uranus does reign,
Eternal in the sky, it never strays
From sight, suspended in the air it stays,
Its phosphorescent glow will never wane.
Above, the stars to light this globe do strain,
They fill the heavens with their mighty blaze.
So dark it is this world they seem to graze,
Yet all their burnings die in night, in vain.
Upon this long forgotten moon I stand,
Titania is its name, the fairy queen.
I search the sky to see the sun, so far
Away from this outpost, this ancient land:
The fires of home, of Earth, so rarely seen,
For here the Sun is just another star.
