Original Ⓒ 1975. Part 1 of a 22-poem sequence based on the major arcana of the Tarot deck. 

This particular version of the deck came out with the James Bond movie Live And Let Die starring Roger Moore and Jane Seymour. The original deck was to be designed by Dali, but he asked too much, so the deck and images I'm working from were by Fergus Hall.

Italian Sonnet, somewhat imperfect. This one rhyming ABBA ABBA CDC DCD. The meter is not regular, although it tends towards iambic.
