Note on: Juliet (4d) – Variation 3: Syllable Sestet

Having failed to get an American Cinquain, in variation 1, I did note that by not trying to split “ambulances” the line could look like this

“The ambulance has come, but Juliet // 10 syllables
is dead.” // 2 syllables

So working backwards gave me something that had the feel of an American Cinquain, but with an extra line, and syllable count 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 2. A six line stanza is a sestet, but I could find nothing in this pattern, so I simply called it a Syllable Sestet
