Rick-ta-stitch poem for a contest by Rickets.
I’m using a WORD count for my pattern 

The Rickastich is a variation of a Termelay.
A Rickastich has 8 lines per stanza, and three stanzas. The first three lines are refrain lines for each stanza. Each line must have either a word count or syllable count of 4/4/4/8/8/4/4/4. It can rhyme or not.

I actually made an error and added an extra 8 word line in the middle section of the stanza, but I like how it turned out so much that I left it as is. I entered it in another contest (Don't Refrain from Refraining), where it won silver.
