Another a brevity contest poem for the AllPoetry website, by Line Gauthier, from Ontario.
Line's challenge was to write a poem of no more than 6 lines, based on the picture you see below. My sister gave us two deck chairs in the early months of our marriage. I originally thought they were for Christmas, hence the references in to poem to Christmas wrapping, but thinking about it, they may have been a wedding present. In any account they were used for many years, although never with such a view. While they are gone now, so to is Juliet, who was always the sunshine in my life.
