Note on: A Lemonade Life

This poem came as a response to a brevity contest on the AllPoetry website, by another poet Line Gauthier, from Ontario. Line, (pronounced Lyn,) writes short poems a lot, and has been a wonderful critic of my poems since I joined a subgroup called Constructive criticism.

Line's challenge was to write a poem of no more than 6 lines, based on the picture you see below. The lemons, knife, and jug caught my eye. As did a pip in the poem it prompted. As usual, whenever I get the chance, Juliet usually can be found in the things I write.
